Our approach
Every Lemon Story piece begins with touch. We prioritise breathability, softness against skin, and structural integrity in lace and mesh. Wherever possible, we name exact fibre content on product pages and care labels so you know precisely what you are wearing.
Lace
Our floral and geometric laces are selected from European mills known for fine gauge and consistent pattern registration. Lace is layered for opacity where needed, never at the expense of comfort. Expect slight variation in pattern placement — a mark of genuine lace, not printed imitation.
Silk-touch satin & charmeuse
Fluid, light-catching satins used in slips, robes, and trim. Many of our satin-finish fabrics are high-grade polyester or rayon blends chosen for drape and easy care while preserving a silk-like hand. Fibre breakdown is listed per style.
Mesh & power mesh
Breathable stretch mesh provides gentle support in bodysuits and fitted silhouettes. Power mesh panels are placed strategically — never where they restrict natural movement.
Modal & jersey blends
Soft, breathable knits for sleepwear and relaxed layers. Naturally moisture-wicking and gentle for extended wear.
Hardware & trims
Adjustable sliders, hook-and-eye closures, and minimal metal accents are nickel-tested where applicable. Elastic is selected for recovery — waistbands and straps should return to shape after wear, not bag.
Care
Delicate fibres reward gentle handling. Hand wash cold or use a lingerie bag on a delicate cycle. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and tumble drying. Full care instructions are on every garment label.
Sustainability
We produce in limited runs to reduce waste and partner with suppliers who meet our quality and labour standards. We are continually reviewing packaging to use recyclable materials without compromising discretion.
